Mission

Heaven Bound A.M.E. is a Church with a passion for souls. It is our spiritual desire to make an intimate and lasting investment in God and, His Kingdom. Let each of us be obedient to Ephesians 5:14, " Awake thou that sleepest , and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light."

Our mission is to also serve God's Church and His people through benevolence and community services. Heaven Bound AME Church was successful in obtaining a Faith-Based Grant, that was funded by The U.S. Department of Labor, through The One Stop Kino Service Center, Tucson, Arizona.

Targeted Pima County families benefited from this grant in obtaining jobs, housing, transportation, clothing and, it assisted at risk youths. On July 1,2008, The Center For Faith Based and Community Initiative, published an article entitled," Faith-Based And Community Initiatives: Delivering Help And Hope To Millions At Home And Around The World. Heaven Bound AMEC feel fortunate and blessed to have been one of the grassroots , Non-Profit organizations to have served the needy in Pima County. President Bush established the Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives at the White House as part of his first executive order.

This has advanced policies that yield greater support for faith based and community groups. Heaven Bound AMEC was highly successful in the completion of this grant. The Office of the Mayor of Tucson,The Governor of the state of Arizona and The Metropolitan Pima Alliance, recognized and honored us with certificates and a trophy.

We are a small church with an benevolent heart and, are active in hands-on support of families in need. God is continuously blessing us, to bless others.
